Psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner

I want every person that enters my office to feel comfortable, respected and heard. I believe in working collaboratively with individuals toward their goals, utilizing a strength-based, interpersonal model. As the mother of two daughters and the eighth of nine children, I have a deep appreciation for family and a profound respect for all kinds of families. I understand the struggles that are inherent in parenting and I strive to help families achieve their very best as individuals and as a unit.
— Maureen Davis, PMHNP-BC

Maureen began her nursing career at Children’s Hospital Colorado in 1986 working as a staff nurse on the Child Psychiatric Unit, followed by years on the Child Crisis Unit, Adolescent Medical-Psychiatric Unit, Eating Disorders Team, and Psychiatric Day Treatment.

In 2006, Maureen was licensed and board-certified as a psychiatric nurse practitioner, managing the care of psychiatric inpatients in concert with a multi-disciplinary team.
